PLANTS AND ANIMALS 1° and 2°

 



In Unit 3 of Science, 1° and 2° focused on differentiating animals based on vertebrates and invertebrates and then recognizing characteristics of each, including reproduction (oviparous, viviparous, ovoviviparous). Students worked with parts of plants to identify parts and functions. In addition to the physical materials, new vocabulary is emphasized with flashcards and interactive games, as well as supplmentary materials by primary teacher.
