WELCOMING NATIVE SPEAKERS.INTRODUCTING OUR TOWN. OUR SCHOOL AND SOME HINTS TO AUXILIARES DE CONVERSACIÓN.
WELCOME TO MOSAICO SCHOOL.
INTERESTING INFORMATION TO LANGUAGE ASSISTANTS.
* Our school
Our School Mosaico is a state school, located in Santiponce town, just 12 kilometres far from Sevilla.
If you want to know more about our school you can visit: www.ceipmosaico.org
To see some pictures there is an Instagram direction: https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/ceipmosaico/
*The village.
Santiponce is a small town 12 km far from Sevilla, the city.
Italica was used last year as location for new Game of Thrones settings.
And Italica is an ancient Roman monument to visit here in Santiponce.
Here you are information about our village.

* Other State schools:
There is another primary school Josefa Frias, our neighbor school is just five minutes far from ours. And there is also a secondary school, called Italica, closer to Italica monument.
Our students ( from first to sixth graders, are being given Science and P.E in English).And pre-primary students are taking English lessons too.
Hints to know Spanish and Andalussian´s topics:
(Don´t get surprise when we talk loud. It isn´t rude, it´s our volume, In the South of Spain we talk fast and “ lack“some ending letters, once when you learn “Andaluz”, you will learn any Spanish !)
I´m sure you will feel comfortable .
In
our school everybody work hard enough and also have time to be kind.
We´ll be delighted having you in our school full time.
* How to get to school
http://www.consorciotransportes-sevilla.com/lineasmetropolitanas/pdf/horarios/linea1701.pdf
The bus Station is Plaza de Armas, but there is one stop closer to
Triana called Chapina.
There are two options for buses:
One is direct, the other one has many stops in different villages.
I don´t know if this is the fastest one, I remember talking to
the last” auxiliar” (conversation assistant), she said something about direct buses, also starting from the same bus station. (You can buy a
pass card ,at the tobacco shop called in Spanish: BONOBUS. it’s easier but if needed , I ´ll let you know
how to do it.)
* Where to live
Triana,is good deal to live. Ronda de Triana will be also a good location for you to stay. Triana ( is the nearest quarter close to TORRE PELLI) as well as to access the Bus stop or the bus station crossing the bridge.
But if you want to be closer to the bus station, maybe (the city center: Arjona , Torneo, Marqués
de Paradas will be perfect for you to stay.)
* Interesting information
I know you´ve got it, but, again, here you are a blog you can access to get
more information and make you easier you stay in our country.

conversación en Sevilla"

* VIP
If you are European, ( EU MEMBER) forget about this.
You are not European, so, you can´t apply for an European Health Insurance Card in your country. ( In Spanish we name it tarjeta sanitaria europea). But you will be given a Health insurance just for your stay in Spain and during your work agreement. Remember, and this is very important, if you go direct to a Public Health Center, you will have to pay, So, my personal opinion is, whenever you be sick, just go to any of the options the Health insurance Policy offers you, and use the card that will be given to you by Consejería.
* What auxiliares need to do at school.
Mainly: Talk to our sutdents and make them communicate using their knowledge and making them understand the importance of learning English at school.
The more variety of games, productive activities and interesting ones you offer (to make them improve their speaking) the better.
We wish this information is interesting to you.
And of course:
Welcome to our Spain, welcome to Mosaico school.
